I’m a Co-Founder & CEO of FitBark, a data startup that’s helping pet parents in 150+ countries as well as 100+ research institutions to answer the big questions about pet health and safety.
FitBark was part of the inaugural class of the Sprint Accelerator powered by TechStars. We are proudly based in Kansas City, in the heart of the KC Animal Health Corridor, and we’re a part of a Midwest entrepreneurship network called Pipeline.
Over the past few years, I’ve been a member of the advisory board at Kansas State University and a judge of the MIT 100k Entrepreneurship Competition.
In a previous life, I designed high performance engines right before co-founding a toy car company that now distributes slot cars and accessories worldwide.
I also managed infrastructure projects, applying innovative coatings to Oil & Gas pipelines in rural India and the Middle East.
During my finance-focused MBA I chaired the **NOVA Innovation Conference** and was the lead student organizer of the MIT CFO Summit. I learned some more finance during an exchange program and at an investment bank where I advised Financial Technology clients on capital raises and M&A matters. I was also the CTO of an MBA Association and a member of the Operating Committee of TiE New York, an organization devoted to fostering entrepreneurship worldwide.
When I visit my family in Italy, I get to drive my Ducati ST2. I’ve had it for 25 years.
My interests include reading, learning or developing new technologies, running, biking and swimming. I was a fly half / fullback for Rugby Badia for 18 years, as well as a Bruin and a member of the Under 21 Italian national rugby team. I traveled to 35+ countries and lived in 4 continents, and you can speak to me in Italian, English, Spanish and basic French.
